RUSSIA-UKRAINE CONFLICT

 Hello everyone. My name is Harsh Deep and today I would explain you about the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Before understanding this conflict we need to go into the past when the World War 2 had ended. After the war SOVIET UNION got divided into multiple parts . Many countries like Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kajakhastaan ,Ukraine etc countries came out of SOVIET UNION and Russia was considered as the heir to the throne of SOVIET. So as the UNION broke down USA,Canada,and the countries that came out of SOVIET UNION signed a military alliance and this group was named as NATO (NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION).

According to NATO if any non-nato country attacks on one of the NATO country then all the NATO countries will go on war with the country who had attacked.

So Russia is the country who wants to see the Soviet Union once again and so they are occupying the lands of their neighbouring countries as these countries were part of Soviet and in this process RUSSIA had occupied Crimea which is in the south eastern part of UKRAINE.

Seeing this Ukraine as a weak country than Russia wanted to join NATO so that it comes under the protection of America and after world war 2 America and  Russia always stand on the opposite side of everything.

But Russia did not wanted Ukraine to join NATO because if Ukraine joins NATO then it would be a clear indication of expansion of the borders of America and so Russia had told Ukraine not to join NATO but after being  told multiple times UKRAINE applied for joining NATO and so RUSSIA attacked UKRAINE.

Countries like USA,and the EUROPEAN UNION (GROUP OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES) levied a high amount of sanctions on RUSSIA because of which Russia suffered as its stock market value went low and the value of its currency also went down and it also affected RUSSIA's trade in a great manner for which it suffered a huge amount of loss.

But,some countries like INDIA,CHINA did not do anything neither they spoke against RUSSIA nor did they support it .

The war is still on and this war has not only affected the two fighting countries but the whole world .

The whole world is on the line of food emergency as most of the wheat used to come from Ukraine.

The price of oil has touched the record high price as due to sanction Russia is not able to transport its oil and natural gas.

Some of the experts have predicted that within a year the world is going to face a financial emergency.

War is never a solution . Peace should be maintained .

Today if this war is happening then according to me the main culprit is USA .
